Bajra Samaj Nepal (BSN) is a non-profit organization that was established in 2012 by a group of local young individuals, teachers, women, farmers, and community members in Ramechhap district. The organization is dedicated to implementing sustainable development activities within the district. BSN is officially registered with the District Administration Office Ramechhap (DAO) in Nepal, holding registration number 782. Additionally, it is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC) in Nepal as the 36308th NGO.
Furthermore, BSN has obtained registration with the Inland Revenue Office as a tax-exempt organization and has been issued the Permanent Account Number (PAN) 600952765 by the government. The organization diligently renews its registration with the District Administrative Office Ramechhap on an annual basis. Its programs have received approval from both the Local Governments of Ramechhap District and the Social Welfare Council of Nepal.
The governance structure of BSN consists of a nine-member executive board that is elected by the annual general body for a term of four years. The primary responsibilities of the executive board include developing the annual program plan, coordinating with various organizations, as well as implementing and monitoring approved programs.
BSN has been actively involved in empowering the community by providing essential education on health, sanitation, livelihood, and education. This important work has been made possible through collaboration with Friends of Nepal Pariwar Foundation (FONPF), based in the USA, since 2013.
