Our Donors

1. Friends of Nepal Pariwar Foundation (FONPF)

The Friends of Nepal Pariwar Foundation (FONPF) has long been dedicated to improving the health and well-being of women and their families in rural Nepal. By supporting a network of registered nonprofit community organizations, FONPF strengthened local capacity to sustain and expand vital health services while fostering development in remote areas, particularly through improved drinking water and educational opportunities. Although FONPF—a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (Tax ID: 26-1246116)—officially closed in 2025, its mission continues to leave a lasting mark on the communities it served.

Since the establishment of Bajra Samaj Nepal (BSN), FONPF has been a steadfast and continuous supporter of our initiatives. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the members and donors of FONPF, and offer a special acknowledgment to Mr. Tom Arens for his tireless commitment and support of our programs. While the organization has concluded its operations, the support from the Friends of Nepal Pariwar Foundation remains active and secured through 2026, ensuring a stable transition for the projects and people who depend on them.

2. BBP Pariwar

BBP Pariwar, formally known as the Baudha Bahunipati Project – Pariwar, is a dedicated non-governmental organization that has been driving community-led development in rural Nepal since 1994. Centered primarily in the Ramechhap, Kavre, and Sindhupalchowk districts, the organization focuses on empowering marginalized populations, particularly Dalit families and women-led households, through holistic and sustainable interventions. Their work is deeply rooted in regenerative agriculture, where they promote climate-resilient techniques such as the System of Rice Intensification (SRI), tunnel farming, and the preservation of indigenous crops to ensure long-term food security and environmental health.

Beyond farming, BBP Pariwar implements critical social and economic programs, including rotating livestock funds that provide families with buffaloes and goats to build sustainable livelihoods. In collaboration with partners like Groundswell International and local health organizations, they also bridge gaps in public services by organizing rural health camps and developing essential water infrastructure for both irrigation and drinking. By combining financial literacy, organic agricultural training, and community health initiatives, BBP Pariwar fosters a model of self-reliance that strengthens the voices of rural communities and protects the natural resources they depend on.

3. Stiftung Soziale und Ökologische Zukunft

(Foundation for Social and Ecological Future)

The German-based foundation “Stiftung Soziale und Ökologische Zukunft” (Foundation for Social and Ecological Future) was established in 2011 to support or initiate projects which help underprivileged people in poorer countries or projects which have the goal to protect climate or nature.

Over the years the foundation has been supporting several projects in different countries – e.g. the construction of a drinking water well and the employment of two teachers in a little village in Sambia, the distribution of solar lamps in Pakistan, the support of a home for disabled children in Ecuador or an orphanage in Nepal.

The foundation only supports projects which can ensure that subsidies of the foundation arrive 100% on site and thus exclusively serve the purpose of the foundation. The foundation has no administrative or advertising expenses as the necessary work is done entirely by volunteers.

Menstrual Hygiene Education (MHE) as one of today’s need in the community of rural areas, Foundation for Social and Ecological Future funded a one year project “Promoting Menstrual Hygiene Education and Re-usable Sanitary Napkin in Schools and Women Groups” in Ramechhap Municipality. Further details about the project could be cited from the link.
